I've had my DS Firecard since Xmas and it's been working fine but yesterday I put a game on it, it got corrupted and multiplied save files. I formatted it and updated it to 1.45 but since then it no longer reads my games.

I get error messages saying: Cannot read the DS saying "Could not access the DS card. Please turn the power OFF and reinsert the DS Card, then turn the power ON again."

I tried a full format, using the NAND_ALL.bat then updating to 2.53 stable firmware but I still get the error.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Most flash carts suffer from a poor connection issue - this may be the problem. Cut a piece of thin card (or fold over a piece of paper) slightly narrower than the flashcart but about 1cm longer, insert the paper strip with the flashcart (on the side of the flashcart without the contacts), this should push the contacts on the DS and flashcart together. If this does not work, try a real cart is the DS seeing this - if not then you have a problem with the DS

I tried that but I still get the same error. I can get to the game select screen but only when it starts to load the games does it say that the card is unreadable. I have tried more than one game, downloaded other versions of the ROMs to check, yet I still get this error.

My DS plays regular carts just fine and this Firecard problem only happened yesterday.

I've browsed through that thread but the solutions do not seem to be working for me.

I've done a full format, I've done a quick format, I've reloaded the xmenu.dat, I've gone into the red writing mode and ran the NAND_ALL.bat But I still get the same problem trying to run the games that worked previously.

When I select the game I want to run the screen goes white for a few seconds then I get the error saying it cannot read the DS cardd.

My firecard is a 16G one if that makes any bit of difference.
