I love firefox and now I have to use crap IE7 because FIrefox isn't working properly. When I try and clear history or anyting like that it doesn't clear.WHen I try to bookmark a page it doesn't work. The looks have gone funny aswell as at the top where there is this bar there isn't anything there anymore,it just has these sectors. If the bookmarks do work then they get deleted after 2days max.

I need my firefox back.Cna someone please help me?

    Cheers

Have you tried disabling themes & extensions and seeing if it works ok? If it does re-enable them one at a time to see which one is causing the problem...

Has Firefox or your PC crashed recently?

This sounds like an issue with updating rather than a completely new install. I read somewhere that this is to do with registry entries looking for the wrong files, but I'm on an old FF anyway.

Try installing 1.5 again, then if it works completely uninstalling it before putting 2 on.

I just tried installin Firefox 1.5 and then installing Firefox 2.0 but I am still having the same problems.Maybe it is a virus or something, but I don't know.

I need Firefox back,it's just the best.

When you uninstall Firefox, do you delete the registry entry?

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Mozilla
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/mozilla.org
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE//MozillaPlugins

MNA, edit your sig to conform to forum rules ASAP. currently 196,940 bytes instead of forum specs of 50k.
    2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.
