Hello everyone, For some reason, my Mozilla Firefox could not read the pictures properly. For example: The home page of Yahoo. The pictures that suppose to be on the top page are not visible. There's this little box that has a crack paper logo. I only had this problem this last week. It wasn't like this before. Anyone that knows what the problem is? Or what should I do to fix this.. Thanks alot!
Yup know all about it...you need to tell firefox to allow pictures from the site.. It's in the options in the toolbar somewhere, or right click on the icons and take the "allow" option.. not running windoze anymore..firefox works different in linux, but the option is there somewhere..or if you pull down the help menu there is lots of online help, like with everything linux.. lol
You know what's funny, this problem only occurs whenever I go to Yahoo. Ok, when I Right click the unseen image, there's no "allow" button. It only says its properties. =( BTW, the icons such as in mails and sports in yahoo are seen now. However, the pictures, for some reason, still doesn't show. Oh welll
Mmm..I'll just have a look at yahoo.. No.. no problem with it as far as I can tell ?? I found it....... Try going into..Edit>preferences>web features...and see if the load images box is ticked... (just went on a windows machine and duplicated the effect)
At the top left on the toolbar...just above the back and forward arrows.. Edit click and preferences is the bottom item on the menu...web features is the 3rd item on the icon bar on the left side of the window that opens..it's the world icon...look in there.. lol
Seriously, I know that the preferences should be on the edit but there's none. the EDIT only has these items: undo, redo, cut, copy, paste, delete, select all...etc But no PREFERENCES.. Maybe you mean in the TOOLS and then OPTIONS? Cuz that's where I found the world logo.. ????????
