I use Firefox for one reason:cause everybody does. After using firefox for about 6 months I ask myself:what does it do that's so great? and whats the point of having firefox if it's just a plain search powered by google? If anybody has the answers please tell me.
You may notice that on firefox you get a lot less pop-ups than internet explorer. Thats the main reason i hear from other people. Personally i use internet explorer becuase its there to be used i cannot see point in downloading another browser. You use whats best for you
firefox is extremely customizable and usable. a few things you may have noticed might be the built-in search functions right next to the address bar, the included security/pop-up blockers functions, and the light system resources it uses. but you can also do near anything with it. for example, right now i have extensions that allow me to chat on IRC directly, highlight any address and automatically get driving directions, a weather bar built in just over my address bar, a heavy duty pop-up blocker, a calculator, and a graphing calculator, all ready to use in an instant's notice with supreme ease. then there's my cool black anime theme basically, firefox is the ultimate free browser.
Firefox is better, it's more secure and stable. You will never get a spyware while surfing the web with Firefox. Firefox is also extremely easy to customize too, you can get tons of plugins to customize your browser. Everybody is switching over from Internet Explorer, maybe you should too.
with firefox open, go to the Tools option on your tool bar. under that, click "extensions." a window pops up, and one of the links is "get more extensions." click that.
Firefox is the best ever! The Main Main reasons are because of the many useful plugins, and the tabbed browsing!! It also had all of that pop up blocker and stuff. Easy interface, Fully customizable interface, and skins! Its Worth it! GET IT! My favorite plugins are: adblock, accuweather, customizegoogle, tabmixplus, fasterfox, and no script.
