okay i barely installed zone alarms firewall - and now i cant access certain sites - not even the simplest yahoo.com - its even messing with my images on certain pages - anyone know what the problem is? this is crap. even when i close it - i still cant
i havn't had much exp with Zone Alarm, top soft though. maybee you could check if it is registered as a service if you wanna disable it, also you could check its filtered content, blocked/allowed sites... you know see what you can find... just a sugg.
@bobright I had zone alarm awhile back and its a great progs and this is wat u do??? when u installed it did u set it up to automatically choose to give access to the sites?? If soo u have to change that setting to manual soo u can b prompted if the program trys to access the net connection and u choose yes or no and then u can click remember my answer etc... This way when u go to the listed programs u have a better understanding of what has access and what doesnt. if u cant change the settings with the installed copy already, uninstall it. and re install and choose manual choice... i hope that helps
Hey Borhan, thanks. Yeah i had that setting to manual. I was beginning to think it was my Kapersky blocking something - but i came to find it was Peerguardian hidden blocking certain https. So yeah luckily i got that figured out. I was already getting to worry. . . Thanks though, Bob
