Hi guys, I am a new here. I read the thread and decided to have a DVP642/37 to play a AVI with subtitle. However, the link of upgrade firmware was dead, Philips has removed this for some reason. SO, if anyone still have this firmware in your PC, please upload (Rapidshare, megaupload, mytempdir....) for me. Thank you very much.

Hello all, I'm new to this site. I just went thru upgrading and then downgrading my 642 firmware to get rid of the macrovision, so I can give you some current firmware sites. The philips site doesn't have the older firmwares but the other 2 sites do plus some modded firmwares.
