Since your old firmware is UYS2 you should update it to UYS3 the higher the letter or number the latest update it is. The drive you have is actually a lite-on drive but rebaged with the Sony Name. OEM Liteon SOSW-8?3S I would assume is the firmware you could cross flash to make the drive region free. I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to cross flashing etc. I think the reason it list both firmware is because you can use either or on the drive.
