I have a LITE-ON LTD-163D installed in my systems and the thing has never worked right . . . the majority of the time all it says is "NO DISK INSERTED" . . . which is a complete lie (I just hate liars . . . don't you?). Anyway . . . I would like to update the firmware for this drive, but can't find a copy of the latest version. I looked on the Lite-on site, but they don't list the LTD-163D any where . . . maybe it is too old or something, but I just bought it new a year or so ago . . . If anyone can help out I would appreciate it . . . I am starting to think this Lite-on equipment is junk (I just installed a Lite-on 1633s and it doesn't work worth a darn either). Thanks!!!
Thanks. I updated it, but it still doesn't help . . . I amhaving major prolems with my Lite On DVD set-up . . . I am beginingt o think their stuff is junk . . . Big D
