firmware update

    i wanted to know where i can find an update for my dvd burner (TS-H653N)

    ok i just did and i couldnt find anything
    and i wanted to know if the samsung SH-S203N and TS-H653N are the
    same because thats the only firmware update i could find

    I would doubt it. Is your drive a Samsung drive, and if so, how old is it? If it isn't very old, there may not be a firware update for it, yet.

    i dont know if its samsung it already came with my pc
    my pc is a compaq sr5202hm

    If you use ImgBurn it has a handy feature of searching out a firmware update for you.

    Tools>Drive>Check for Firmware Updates
