Firmware Upgrade for Sony DLU -710A Dual Layer Drive

    I got this drive over the holidays and installed it myself. Works great. Not one problem.

    I see there is a new firmware upgrade which came out on January 4, 2005. It takes the firmware from
    BYO1 to BY02.

    Can anyone please tell me how or where I can find instructions to disable [DMA setting] in Windows before executing firmware update. I can't figure out if I disable the entire DMA device or specifically the Sony DRU-710A drive within the DMA. I don't want to make a costly mistake.
