Firmware upgrade for standalone dvd player

    I have a Samsung home Dvd player and can't find anything on their site (or anywhere) for firmware upgrades. Is there a 'generic' site that would have this information?

    What samsung do you have? Ive a samsung, M105 i think, why do u wish to upgrade the firmware. Most samsungs are coded for region free.

    I have the HT-DM150 and some of the dvd's I burn myself skip. On my other standalone and 2 computer players, it plays fine so I thought I'd try an upgrade to see if that would help.

    I do believe ther is a compatibility chart on this forum somewhere stating what DVD players work with DVD-R media. If someone could direct this person to it.......
