Firmware Upgrade!.

    I bought the Nec-2500A unit some time ago.Is it right that there is an upgrade to make it duel-layer as the Nec-2510 Drive is.I`m interested in this so can you supply the upgrade location plese.

    Something to consider is that the upgrade has destroyed quite a few drives.

    I have the Nec 2500a and it works great. But every thing I have read about the 2510 flash is it kills the drive. I would not do it or at least wait to see if they get the bugs out of it. Newegg.com has the 2510a for less than $80.00. That seem like a better deal than messing up a drive that works.
