How do I find out if the firmware is up to date on my Memorex DVD burner? I keep seeing references to this but I don't have a clue. Thanks in advance.
I don't know what software you have - some have tools that will show it but here's how to do it in windows. Right click on my computer>properties>hardware tab>device manager. Right click on the drive listed under cd/dvd drives. Properties>details tab. The firmware version will be listed all the way to the right. In this pic the firmware is 1.02 You can check if there is a later version w/ the make & model here. Or you can try Memorex's site.
