Howdy I have decided to venture out and try to build my own computer, and i am not sure about the whole set of steps and events. I have purchased premade computers before from places like compusa and gateway, but they tend to die on my alot. my last 3 computers have had the mobo die on me. So, my point being, i am not sure what to get or where i should start. i am a gamer, but i dont look for tip of the peak graphics. i just want something that will be able to play games and handle them at decent FPS. for the next couple years. i also do a lot of video and photo editing so i geuss more RAM is a plus. my budget is Aprox. ~~1200-1300~~ but depending on the benefits of pushing the budget a hundred or so higher, i can do it. ~dani
I'm assuming this is US dollars, and if so a good gaming PC is easily doable. If you post this in the official PC building thread, everyone will be able to help you through the process. It's not difficult as long as you're careful.
