I have a Toshiba notebook computer with burning capability. Recently I have run into a problem with the new DVD-R disks that have come out. I need to find out where I can download firmware so that my computer will be able to recognize the new dye in the New DVD-R blank disks that have come out. Maxell told me they started using a new dye for their disks and that is why my computer won't recognize there even being a blank disk in the computer. Toshiba WILL NOT help me...they want me to pay $50 just for them to answer me & have been the least helpful. If anybody can send me a direct link or SOMETHING to help me it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
