I bought Pinnacle pctv stereo earlier this year (after returning ATI's HDTV wonder) I installed it, not many features but it done what it was supposed to, play and record T.V. on my PC. Here I am 3 months later after having had to reformat my drive wondering, why for the love of god would you put a serial number on a driver cd? actually on the cd would have been ok. stupid yes since you have no use for the drivers without having the hardware and you obviously cannot pirate hardware. But these stupid BumFuckers actually put it on the paper sleeve the cd came in and yes as you may have guessed by now, i have thrown the paper sleeve away, My third e-mail to customer support has gone unanswered and oh pinnacle.com? download the drivers? yes of course I tried I actually found and downloaded what appeared to be the driver package after installing the drivers from pinnacle website I try to launch the app..."hardware initialazation failed blah, blah, blah" I have had it I dont care if the damn thing ever works I would really love to shove that thing up somebodys ass preferably someone from pinnacle but anyone at all would be fine but since that probably isnt going to happen i think i will just smash it in as many peices as possible put it a box along with a print out of this post and mail it to those sons of bitches. ahhhhhhhh it still hurts but that feels a little better
Did you also lose the CD that contained the original drivers? I don't quite follow you on the drivers serial number.
