    anyone know can you flash a starview the box of a starview usb by connecting the two boxes

    no mate, different firmware altogether, will brick your SV1

    see thats why people wont help and last coder retired you ask question and get abuse i was not being smart just wanted to know if anyone try ed it before i nackered 2 boxes mine is working i have starview 4 but am trying to get others working for everyone else but i see im waisting my time trying to help yous and everyone who was going to help will be same

    Don't think anyone was being rude to you mate except for the one comment I did see. It's just that you asked 'is it a guess' and you we're told it wasn't a guess but you sounded like you were'nt listening and were going to go ahead anyway.
    Anyhow. It doesn't work, now you know as well as others here. We're all after the same goal mate. Lets all be fonzy. And whats fonzy, he's cool.

    why you think I and others told ya it wouldnt work? for the laugh? it wont work as the firmware is not designed to work on any other model than what it was designed for, would ya put petrol in a diesal engine? you were answered straight up, but you got snotty with your remarks and then try to say it worked??? How is that helping anyone?

    im trying with my own boxes if it worked then i would have told people just asked did anyone try all i got was different firmware i will try anyway and if it works well you will have to try your self to see
