Call me a tw@t but there i was...mr cocky and went and installed my new modchip xecuter 2.2 lite for my 1.2 xbox...no problems there but the major boo boo occured when trying to flash the bios. I created a cdrw fine but the bios i used was called evolutionx 2.5...now, after many hours of reading (too late now i know) i find that i should be using 4997 from xecuter and i'm kicking myself as the bloody thing wont start now (what the hell is that one for anyway and why did it install it if it's totally wrong?)...just keeps doing that common problem of flashing light red and green. Can someone briefly tell me of what i can do here? I have the proper bios ready to go...just need to get rid of this old one first and without a programmer...thanks.
btw shouldnt this xecuter have a spare bank? There is a switch on the side...i used bank 1 and havent touched bank 2 but it doesnt want to know...still the same
