Flash Player wont install!

    when i downloaded the new flash player It says i have installed it but when I got to websites it always says i need to download macromedia flash 8 or higher.

    I am running on IE7....does anyone have a solution to my problem

    I don't know about IE7 but just off the top I would suggest using add/remove to uninstall the flash player then redownloading the installer.
    -EDIT-
    From there try to reinstall the program and see what happens.

    @Emac: Do you have admin rights? Even if it is installed, if you dont have admin rights, flash does not work correctly. I have that issue with one of the machines here, and I have not yet found a workaround (havent really looked though). Log in with an account with admin rights and I bet ya it works fine.

    i've been seeing the samething since Adobe took over. it seems to depend on the site too.

    HI EMAC
    The usual delete programme does not completely delete flash player, it still leaves a small part behind and no matter how many times you re download it wont work, even though it says "download complete" You have top go to the "flash uninstal"program , then you can re install flash...Note it will not install properly until you get rid of the complete uninstal, which is avail from flash home..Hope this is of some use...
