hi when i try flash my dbox with a NULL MODEM CABLE every things on screen but when i try and put dl 800000 in there in won,t write in box dont no what i am doing wrong can some one help me please thanks norrie
helo mate, someone i am helping at the moment also seems to be having the same problem.. please click this link and check the thread instead of the one you created: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/658220 try using my sig and downloading the information and then try doing it the same way that i did... did you turn the box on using the UP ARROW to get information in the hyper terminal box? and are you sure that the hyper terminal is talking to the box correctly? like i said check the other thread and also my sig for the files. follow the step by step carefully. good luck.

hey myksterx do you know if this works with null modem and null modem to usb adapter, as i only have a laptop and this only has 15 pin connection. thanks
helo mate, ive only tried it through the pc motherboard method. but im sure it should work, just aslong as you get the information in the hyper terminal at the begining (which means the box is talking to the laptop) then it should work.. if not, try another usb slot. from there if it still doesnt work u may need to make a new thread and ask about that. as i only know the method i used, hope this helps.
