Flashing X-ecuter 2.2 Pro

    I'm trying to flash my Xecuter 2.2 pro by hot swapping it in my friends xbox. I'm not sure if i have the switches right or not, it seems like i've tried everything. When i flash it using the EvoX I get
    Flash BIOS
    Manufacturers ID ff Device ID ff
    !! Flash Not Writeable !!

    WHY?!?!

    *UPDATE*

    I tried flashing another mod chip using the by swapping and it worked.
    Is mine dead because I get the error message above?
    The blue lights come on.
    Is there any way to save the chip or should I just get a new one?
