flashing x2 lite plus chip on a xbox v1.5 with slayers, no video support

I have a verison 1.5 xbox, a x2 lite plus chip, 250 gig hdd, and Slayers on dvd.

I have I have already flashed a box with a chameleon chip and 120 gig hdd with the same slayers disc with no problem, but the only differnce is that this was a version 1.2 box.

I have read the the Cromwell clean bios does not have video support for the version 1.5 boxes. Also, I know the chip (x2 lite plus) was installed correctly because I the correct leds lit when I powered up the box and it went through the red blink 3 green blink thing and ejected the dvd drive. The screen came up blank, as I expected. So what I did was inserted the slayers disc and rebooted the xbox. Now when I modded my first box the slayers menu popped up after the reboot, but with this v1.5 box it went through the same red green blink thing, ejected the disc, and the screen stayed blank. I know that the screen will stay blank until the chip has been flashed, but how can I flash it if I cant get the slayers disc to boot? like I said, I know the disc works because I used it before.

so what do I have to do now? am I going to have to flash the chip via another method? and if so what is the best bios to use for the 250 gig drive. Or is it possible that the chip is not installed correctly? I am really confused, can some please help?
