flashing

hi guys if my box was suddenly to go off and i needed to flash it
is there any thing i should no like do need to save the xml files now etc etc or does it not matter

 

Not necessary as you can generate new bouquet and channel list by rescanning

Yes, reflash the image, set your location (if required, not needed if using Sportster image) and then scan for channels ...

 

ok thanks i have the guides to flash is it hard or easy and what damage can i cause if its wrong i.e damage to my pc or box
