I can't seem to get some flickering out of my movie..I ripped a movie with smartripper then used dvd2avi to get the wav and project .d2v then used TMGenc to encode it.
I did notice that smartrippers' d2v file had 25fps while dvd2avis' had 29.97 .I tried first with 29.97fps and had tons of flickering. (this film was 99 percent film) so I also tried force film 24fps and all the audio was out of sync. need help. What should I do.

if you change the frame rate you screw up the audio big time, especially as the film progresses. Not sure about the flickering though

Remember don't turn around or you will lose what you once had.

    The point was....
Anyone with a competent brain would know not change the fps of the movie or you will screw the sound up. However, there is a method to change the frame rate and correct for the audio.

Also, you didnt clarify if the flickering stopped whenever you changed the frame rate. You should include those details!

The movie was 16:9 29.97 and I encoded @16:9 29.97 and I got a lot of flicker . I just happened to see the d2v project file that smartripper makes( I used the d2v project file that dvd2avi makes) so I opened it and it said 25 fps so I thought I try it at that..and the audio was not in sync. Do some of these movies have new or more encryption methods?
