    Hi there,

I've recently bought a Phillips DivX player and I need to convert some .FLV files I've got sitting about; problem is that I can't seem to find the optimal conversion format so that I'm able to burn lots of the files to a single DVD rather than creating massive files.

The best conversion size I've managed is 45.2 MB MPG from a 14.4 MB FLV
and that is just a little on the large size; 2:1 ratio or smaller would be ideal.

    Thanks

Download the FLV Extract program from here:
    http://moitah.net/

Use it to extract the video and audio (Open the program and drag
the FLV. The extracted files will be put into the same folder
    as the FLV)

Once you see what the contents are, your conversion options may be
    clearer.

If you're talking about MPG 1, it uses a fixed bitrate and 45MB
correspond to about 4 1/2 minutes.
