I just bought the 30GB IPOD and I haven't a clue. Two questions for ya: 1. Can you put folders on an IPOD. I'd like to clean it up so I don't have to scroll and scroll and scroll. 2. What format should audio books be in. The ones that I put on are MP3 so they went where the music is.
Hey, jmcole-- Yes, you can. They are called Playlists. In iTunes go to [bold]file-->New Playlist[/bold]. Then make your iPod auto update the songs/videos on each playlist. They should be in mp3 format. They are appearing where the music is because that is what it is considered. There is no separate library for just the audiobooks. Good luck mate!
Origional Question By "jmcole" Reply By "jazo123" There is a seperate section for playlists if they are in correct audiobook format. If you want your files to be bookmarked as 'Audio Books', then they have to be in m4b format. http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/file_extensions/m4b.cfm
Thanks Lethal_B. Can you tell me how to put my audio books in m4b format? Or is there a thread you can point me to?
