I need help with how to configure my comp for multiple recorders. I have the ability to use 4 drives they are all the same model I have 2 gbs of ram, AMD x2 3800 and two sets of sata hard drives in raid 0. I have read all other posts in this forum but not gotten a full answer from any of them. I have a lot of disc I need to burn FYI the discs are for a weeding
I think With Burning ROM all you need to do is check the "Use Multiple Recorders" box in the burn window. Also try clicking the DVD burner icon next to the choose recorder menu. See what options it has. I have seen some posts here on this subject but it was quite a while ago. Have you tried Googling for it? I would imagine that if you are putting have two burners per IDE buss then you would put one as master and one as slave as usual. The only other option would be to set them to cable select. Hopefully someone who knows more about this will reply. I'd simply urge you to experiment at this point. Nice PC btw... I have my 2 xeons, sata hdds and 2gigs of ram so yours has to be awesome with the AMD 3800s.
I've been looking through these threads and haven't found quite the same error I've been having trouble with. I hope this ? is alright under this thread. Firstly, I'm sure it would be a lot more helpful if I could figure out how to post the error log - would someone be able to help with that? (such a newb eh?) From the windows event log ->Generic Error : [HurricaneClientProxy] Connection 0: HurricaneClientProxy::HurricaneClientProxy HURRICANE_COMMAND_OPEN_DRIVE Error 100f I get an interal error (Nero 6) print failure while trying to burn labels with lightscribe. It goes through the process of preparing to burn alright and then either hangs up before it begins burning or gives the error. On the odd occasion (1/20?) it will let me burn the label. I've tried uninstall/reinstall/unplug. Prior to that I did have roxio on my system and hadn't had any probs burning, but I uninstalled roxio anyway. The only thing that has changed on my system is recently installing clone and anydvd - though I've burned a couple labels successfully as well as disc after install before having any probs. I also tried the Surething CD labeler 4.0 that came with the nero pkg/hp 740i lightscribe - that proggy does the same thing. Any ideas?
