Formating DVD+R and DVD+RW

    Is it necessary to format DVD+R and DVD+RW disks before burning?

    Only the RW disc should need to be formatted. The type format depends somewhat on what program you will use it for and what type of data. If you try to format a +R or -R disc it will be used and they are a 1 burn disc.
