formatted f drive am I'm screw?

My five yrd decide to mess around with the settings and formatted the f drive, even though I told him not to mess with anything, well that will teach me a lesson. So now I don't have back up of the msdash everthing was erased, but it still works has the unleash dash boots games up which find but I and him would play online with halo2 with no prob and never got banned, so now I won't be able to do that right? Or can I fix it and get all my stuff back most important eeprom? Any help would be good thanks.

 

.....((try 2 use salyer 2.6 to get ur normal dash back then u just soft mod like u did last time))....

 

How would I go about burn it or ftp it and where would ftp it if that's the only way. Thanks for a fast reply.

 

u can ftp but id prefer..burning it into an iso file its easier and if the problem happens it again pop that disk in ur xbox and ur good..

 

Just curious, how did your MS dashboard get in your f drive?

I don't know what happened but everything erased even my game saves, the games I had on the hard drive and the msdash. I'll try it and I'll get back to you as soon as possible! Thnx

I have a copy of my C drive that i might be able to give you, but i don't know how you would get your eeprom back because of the marriage theory of hardrives and eeproms

Msdash was in the e drive and was delete also, so I don't know what the hell he did.

Will I be able to get my eeprom back using this method. I know about that eeprom hdd marriage thing that's why I want my original

@ tweak I might need if nothing works to get the oringinal eeprom back and will be just incase something happens down the future of a softmod problem.

@ wasted Would it matter if I'm running unleashx as my dash, cuz I noticed the slayers was for evox.

 

dosnet matter...well when my xbox got messed up i used slayer on it and my dash was unleashx so yea i guess so!

 

It dling right now so I'll get back to you guys once its done.

 

The MS dash was probably on E:\ because he used a dual boot soft mod. Also, all E:\ houses all your game saves and music as well.

You don't have to worry about the EEPROM being lost... Since your hard drive is still properly locked to your motherboard, it's a non issue really. Just make another back-up of it using a dashboard of your choice.

Oh, and let me warn you about Slayer's... It isn't really designed for soft mods as it was created with hard mods in mind. If you want a soft mod friendly autoinstaller, you'll want to use AID instead. Oh, and make sure you transfer SID or whatever soft mod exploit save you used back to your hard drive just in case something goes wrong. That way you'll have something to fall back on in case you can't get back to any dashboards.
