Formatting a PC

    ok i dont know if this topic is in the right forum XP

    please move it if its wrong XP

    well another friend brought me his pc and want me to format it

    but this PC has two partitions, the second one is the recovery one

    i deleted both partitions and created only one and installed Windows XP home edition

    i dont know why when i turn on the PC a message appears that says "Please choose an operative system to start" something like that XD
    the options are:
    Windows XP Home Edition
    Windows XP Home Edition

    its weird D: what did i do wrong?? i need two partitions? u_u i know im a newbie in to this xD i want to learn lol
    can someone help me please? XD

    Well while formattin again i created two partitions this time instead of one xP

    the second partition size was 5.67GB

    and that fix it X__x weird and simple but worked for me


    i was installing Windows XP Home Edition SP2 xP
