formatting using image files

    can i format a windows without the cd if i have an image file ( ISO ) . i actually got daemon tools but i m not sure if it will work. i want to format through an image file and i have got no dvd writters to burn it so plz if anyone can help. thankx in advance.

    do you mean you want to format your hdd and reinstall a fresh copy of windows ? if so the iso is useless you will have to have a windows install cd

    I'm GUESSING that the ISO is a DOWNLOADED copy of windows,if so than you would still need a legit serial # to get updates anyways.
