i bought my second hand laptop around a year ago and just getting to know my way around the cyber world and p2p in particular i have amassed a good bit of software etc that i will probably never use again. i have uninstalled a lot of the excess but a few things tell me some other programs may not work properly if i did take them off my computer. The easiest way for me it seems would be to wipe the hard drive and start again, or format the drives(if possible), but i do not have the reg key or the install disk or anything else that i would think it would ask me for if i re-installed windows. I am running win xp pro sp2 on an acer travelmate 4600 laptop. Any pointers on how best to go on would be greatly appreciated.
