Formatting Xbox Hard Drive

hello i want to know if you can format an xbox hard drive...i went to softmod my xbox and i screwed it up and i can't get it back to a normal xbox....so i already have all the game saves off of it i just need to format it...back to the normal state....HOW DO I DO THIS....PLEASE HELP ME.....

 

formatting it will render it useless, that will not reset it back to normal

when i go to push the create ms backup it says that my xbox already has modded files on it.....what do i do...can i delete these files

U can also use Slayers auto installer and format the drive and restore.

 

If you don't have C i could probably get a c drive for you

 

yea venom told me slayer 2.6 is for hard modded xbox's........and he has soft mods so ur ganna wanna use Aid 3.0 and also keep that sid installer thing in ur HD

 

can someone give me a site or like e-mail me the files that i need to format the hard drive....i would greatly appreciate it

 

Hey guys, i just soft modded my xbox, and screwed it up. Is there any program I can use to restore it back to factory defaults? And also, what is stored on each drive? all I know is E:/ is for game saves. But what about c,f,g, x,y, and z? my xbox says there are no files on them, but no free space? can I save my ripped games to those drives? Any ideas? I am such a noob

hey guys.....well i just modded my x-box with evox and im new to this type of stuff so how do i get it back so i can play online???...i already have my x-box live account copyed onto my action replay...so is it better to get a new x box or..........

 

can anyone help me with an error 13 (and i cant FTP to my xbox at all)

 

to : billyboba - Once a box is modded, you cannot play it online.
to : darkkrew - How did this error occur? Was it trying to mod it? It might just be as simple as making sure your IDE cables are in correctly. (I happened to get an error once, called xbox they said it was screwed, and i needed a new one, turned out my IDE was not in tight)
