forum help

hi guys. I am working on a website http://linkisgone.com
I am trying to set up a forum, but it is really confusing. I'm trying to get Phorum to work, but it keeps malfunctioning and won't install. I am a php noob and it is my first time installing a forum, so can anyone help? thanks.

I don't know dRD codes in Cfm so I don't think he would know as all his work is done by hand.
