Has anyone had any problems running Forza motorsport. It appears to try and load then just sits at a black sceeen. - Note this is with a **legit game** Same thing happens with my back up copy Thanks in advance
I have a downloaded copy of the iso but you could try this Wasted 2 discs burning this game and come to find out that it had 2 default.xbe's on the iso, 1 was named default.xbe and the other was named default.xbe_orig . I deleted the default.xbe and renamed default.xbe_orig to default.xbe and the game ran fine. You'll have to extract the iso and do the above mentioned thing and recreate the iso with Craxtion or some other iso tool.
Are you using softmod? I softmoded mine right after I got my v1.6 and all went well until Xlink failed to work due to MAC address problem, so I adjusted my MAC using ConfigMagic and no idea why I got the same black screen problem. The next day I re-did the softmod using newer version and now the same disc work nicely.
