Hello, I checked the search site and didn't find really what I'm looking for. I bought Four Brothers for my girlfriend. Well, I have this tendancy to make copies of the movies I bought and save the purchased movie to the side that way we can watch the copy as much as we want. Well, I used DVD Shrink on a Verbatim DVD+R DL disc and while it did burn the whole thing there is a point in the movie where it literally stops and skips over a chapter. I'm using a LiteOn burner, Verbatim DVD+R DL, and DVD Shrink. I'm kinda a noob so I have no clue to check dvd speed, quality, etc. I've seen on these forums that Verbatim isn't very good, but I figured it might be a defective disc, so I tried another one, and it did the SAME EXACT thing. Can someone tell me what the problem might be, and what DL discs would be best to use? Thanks,
What prog did u use to burn it? Nero? Something else? Nero has issues burning DL discs. Not sure why you'd use DVD Shrink if you're using DL media. Try ripping to ISO with DVDDecrypter and burning with IMGBurn. That's how I burn DLs and never had a problem. IMG handles the break in layer better than anything else. THat could be the issue. Can't think of any postings where people slag Verbatim. Usually #1 or 2 on the preferred list.
