Okay, besides hating Microsoft, what are the benefits of using Foxfire as opposed to Explorer?

I've read some reviews regarding security issues in Explorer that Foxfire has yet to reveal. I've read some articles that Foxfire is being targeted more as it gains popularity.

I'm just curious as I've noticed that many "more experienced" computer users tend to lean towards Mozilla, Firefox, etc...

So, I thought I'd throw the question out there and see what people had to say.

    Thanks.

to put it bluntly, FireFox is better,
    its faster...
    has useful extensions...
    has tabbed browsing...
    has pre-built searching capabilities...
    more secure...

    FASTER>SAFER>FUNNER !!!!

PS: i sent an email to them saying that they should put in a download manager that can resume downloads even after the browser is closed, they said its a good idea.
whether they were just f*ckin trying to get rid of me or being honest, is to be seen in the next version...

i personally prefer IE6, with spybot s&d BHO installed,adIE filter, and the tabbed toolbar.

    http://toolbar.msn.com/

firefox just seems too bloated for my use, and IE does all i need it to do. not to mention, with the inability to remove IE6 (for most people), firefox is redundant.

sure, firefox has a crapload of add-ins. if you need 'em, use firefox.

as for it being more secure, well.....

see information weekly, fred langa's comumns (have to do a search there, i don't have the link.) or langalist.com for more info about firefox's vulnerabilities.
at least when someone screws with IE, microsoft is on it with a fix right away.

I think Firefox is really better then IE due to the less spyware it has.

You can also tweek Firefox so it runs faster and gets faster downloads then IE.
