I am currently running a 1.0 Xbox with a soderless Xecuter 3. I put the adaptor in and the chip on and plugged it in. Well I got what everyone seems to call fragging. starts up 3 times and nothing on the screen. I did a search in the forums and did not find anything for the 1.0. Thanx in advance.

Check, recheck and then check again the d0 point. Your chip came with all the mounting stuff. Go slow and follow the guides and do a pin header install (you'll probably have to desolder the holes first) or do the wire install. The holes already have solder so the wire hookup will be easy. Just use the alternate d0 point on the bottom of the motherboard. But if you really want to use the xapter, keep fiddleing with the d0 point. This causes 99% of frags.

They have to be aligned just right. Just keep messing with it. Or call around at computer shops and see if they have someone that can solder it in for you, then you can do the rest. Xapter's are extremely annoying to fiddle with.
