you can't ftp linux files, because if your xbox isn't softmodded, you can't FTP

 

no i have a modded dash but it doesnt have a ms dash option. i want to restart the ms dash

 

you dont need to, just copy them back to your memory card and then go to the gamesave manager thing and go all the way down to the bottom and it should be there just copy them to the hard drive from the memory card

 

i know but my dash only has launch game and system settings as menus.

 

so you have evoX? if so then you can easily go through your UData and TData Folders and find the splinter cell or whatever game you used and copy the files over to that folder

 

which means i cant look up files on my dash.

You have to FTP your Linux files to the E:/UDATA folder of your xbox.

 

i have the lunix profile and when i load checkpoints it shows the error 21 screen. where in the udata do i put the other file?

 

Most likely u have the wrong files...error 21 is common when the soft modded is done with the wrong files...

 

i know but they were the same ones i used to mod in the first place. plus i only knew where to put the profile on there. where do i put the krazie ndure softmod installer at?

 

You have to just put the folders to the E:/UDATA.
You should use softmod installer deluxe 4.5 for softmodding your xbox.
As PAN5Y has already said, Error 21 occurs if you have the wrong files. You must be having the wrong files. So better use softmod installer deluxe.
You will get all the files required to softmod your xbox in softmod installer deluxe.
