You can download Avast Anti-Virus. http://avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

Someone told me that there was still going to be a free AVG, but I did not find it on their web site. Avast is a good Anti-Virus program. It has automatic updates, and is easy to use. You might like it, I do.

Ya, too bad about AVG, it's a 30 day trial version with full features, then without features, the program gets booted down.

Does anybody know it this is still good?

Also, I'm Using Comodore as a firewall, but to be frank, it's driving me bunkers (well, not literally). It's also popping windows, that I have to "Allow". The same messages about the same programs keep coming back. Any way to get ride of this, or any other firewall I should be using, like window's?

    Sincerely,

As far as firewall I use Zone Alarm. I never cared for COMODO. The Windows firewall is weak. You can use the Windows firewall in conjunction with a router firewall but I wouldn't use it by itself.

Thanks for your help syxguns. Sorry about my post, I wrote it fast as you can tell, it's incoherent.

Thanks for the firewall recommendation, I will check it out. Also, you said that I could use window's firewall in conjuction with router's firewall. I have a D-link router with updated firewall. Is that suffice? Do you still recommend getting Zome Alarm?

    Sincerely,
