Freezes with AVCHD

    I keep getting random freezing with my rips when i play them on my PS3.

    I have burnt the discs using a DVD9, do you think it could be the discs?

    I had the same problem. I could not get some discs to even work at all on the second layer.

    I suggest you upgrade your recorder firmware to the latest and then try Verbatim DVD+R DLs (2.4 Speed)

    Also Datawrite yellow 2.4 speed are usuall ok. The ones that say enhanced for consoles.

    You could try your current media on minimum speed and see how you get on first.

    I have experinced similar issues, in my case it was the transition from the first layer to the second. Nero was the problem, I have since switched to Cyberlink, which is the software that came with my BD drive. I use Memorex DVD9s. I suggest you use the software that came with your drive or the recommended.
