Ok the story is my idiot brother spilled a glass of coke on my dads laptop last night he never said anything and just tried to clean it up it wasn't turning on this mornin and then he told me what he did.

He told me that the laptop turned off immidiately which tells that he has fried something important ie the system board or everything

It wont turn on now and i'm pretty sure i can't do anything but taught i'd check too see if anyone has any ideas all i can do is hope it dry's out and works but since it was coke even drying isn't the end.

oh and he is an idiot as several months ago he spilled a bottle of beer on my laptop ut lucky for him there wasn't any problems as the spilled only effected the keyboard.

The title's pretty apt to be honest, repair shop is the only thing I can suggest.

If it's under warranty, then just tell them you cant get it to work any more. See if they will replace it for you.

If it's not under warranty, then open it up and try cleaning the insides with isopropyl alcohol(not beer) where even it looks coke might have spilled in. Let it dry and try it again.
