Front speaker setup

    I notice that on the back of my reciever for the 2 front loudspeakers i have---they have a "A" and "B" and "A + B" set of binding posts....i dont know exactly what this means...can someone explain why and whats the best setting(both my 2 front loudspeakers have only 2 input---red and black)

    The "A" speakers are the main speakers. The "B" speakers are if you have a pair of speakers in another room. With the switch set to "A", you'll hear the main speakers only (main fronts, if part of 5.1 setup). Switch on "B" and only the speakers in the other room play. Switch set to "A+B", and main speakers and speakers in other room play.

    thanks very much...i can hear the difference!!! also wanted to know where should i assign my power amp, front or to my surrounds for a better theater experience?

    I would guess the front, since that's where 90% of the sound comes from, during a movie.
