FTA for skyplus boes

    Hi everyone, can anybody help is there a way round sky i have moved with out noticing there was no cable in the area should have with all th sky dishes what was up. so no cable no free tv , i have a old sky plus box and get some free chanels. i have notied sky system @ £199 but it dont say what movies you get. dorse

    You can get Freesat with the box and a dish. Have a google and you'll see the list of channels it gives you.

    if your sky+ box is working you only need a dish fitted and the cable ran in to your house(so would cost about £120, unless you and a mate fitted it your self)i dont think the sky + box will record unless you are paying sky for at least the basic,but you can certainly use it to watch all the free channels. you will get bbc x 4, itv x 4 ch4,e4,more4,ch5,true entertainment,cbs drama,cbs action,cbs reality,true movies 1,true movies 2,movies for men 1,movies for men 2, film4,horror channel,citv,cbbc and more for kids and lots of music channels and many more(quite a lot for free and no bills)

    Not positive but you might still well be able to use pvr funtions (Rewind, record etc.) on the sly+ box once you install a Dual LNB or Quad LNB and run the two cables to the box to avail of the Twin tuners in the box. I don't think sly have control of that feature but I could be wrong. Can't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
