FTP downloading...?

    Just wondering is there a certain way to download from an FTP "site"? I've never used it before and know nothing about it. Help appreciated.

    [bold]Edit:[/bold] I'm asking because when I try to download a file from an ftp server, I can only get part of the file. I download half of the file and then it finishes.

    there's many different ones out there, I was using FTP Voyager when I was downloading from FTP sites. Its not free though, and I'm sure by doing some basic google searches you can find one that is.

    if you're using window XP, there's an ftp client built in. no need for a client.
