Yes.. You can FTP the ISO into the Games folder, and play it. I think thats how you do it, I just use DVD2XBOX to do it, it's easier and it doesn't take up space on my PC, even though the games are only a few gigs, still.

It's a program that can rip video games onto the Xbox hard drive, just wondering, how big is your hard drive?

You can get it via an AID disk.
    http://www.aidtracker.com
    Its a torrent link download.
Btw, AID has tons of programs, and uses. It stands for Auto-Install-Deluxe, so you can figure how much it can do.

    Corn,
I don't think the xbox can play the ISO, it is a burning image file extension, don't you have to burn it or extract it into it's core components, before the console can read and play it?

wee59, don't try to copy anything over to a stock HDD. There is probably enough room for 1 movie or 1 game, but if you read a lot of threads, people end up deleting important things off the E: drive when ftping. Spend a little money and get a larger HDD. I bought a 320 gig seagate or WD, (can't remember which) for about $100.00 US from WalMart. Just remember IDE not SATA, and it has to be lockable. If you google compatable drives with xbox, you'll find an extensive list of what will work. Size is dependent on your wallet. There is no 137G barrier anymore, with the new sofmod exploits, so go for it and load up your games, your music, your pictures and even your favorite movies. I recommend you install XBMC either as your primary dash or as an app, to get the most out of media playing.
    Just my 2 cents.

No.. games on iso can sometimes be played with the iso loader in complex-tools.. but it is incredibly unreliable, and I found even the ones that worked tended to make corrupted saves which caused major boot problems later.

Use extractXiso to rip the iso's apart and then ftp the complete folder. (you want the "GUI by Huge" version.. google is your friend)

On a stock softmodded hdd you have around 3.4GB of free space.. even halo2 can be too large depending on how many roms you have in the emulators. The xbox filesystem isn't the most stable and secure when it comes to protecting existing data during disk or ftp file transfer.. back up your entire C: and E: drives before going any further.
