Hi All I was wondering if anyone could please help me out. I'm currently trying to FTP to my Xbox using a switch, which is then plugged into a router. As we do not have enough router ports. The xbox and my own computer are plugged into the switch, which plugs into the router. The IP on the xbox is okay, as my brother can FTP to it through his computer. The problem is, I cant. It always times out and nothing I seem to change fixes it. Does anyone know of a resolution to my problem? Thanks in advance, Lex
So your trying to FTP to the Xbox on your computer? You said you have a switch wich will switch from your Xbox or your Computer that is conected to the router. You dont see your problem here why you cant FTP with your computer? Its a switch!!!!!!!!!! So if you switch it to your Xbox your computer isnt on the network anymore. (not conected to the router cause the switch turned it off) If you switch it to the Computer your Xbox isnt on the network anymore. (not conected to the router cause the switch turned it off)
