Hey, I am a sort of newbie when it comes to this. I have a Xenium Ice chip installed and working properly and Evolution 8 BIOS installed. I tried a couple things that I found in some guides to ftp to my xbox but they haven't worked. I am unsure on a few things. 1. Do I need a dashboard in order to be able to ftp to my xbox? 2. If so is there a place where i could find an autoinstall for one? 3. How would I go about making a disc for this? 4. What information do I need to put in my tcpip for my nic card (ip, gateway, dns)? I have the NIC installed and I have the crossover cable I need. I just can't ftp to my xbox. Also when I try and enter the settings for the ip and gateway in my xbox through the xenium settings menu and click restart network connection it always tells me failed to restart. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Go into your control pannel and then into your internet connections.......there make a network bridge and yes you need a dashboard to FTP
Okay i was able to ftp to it. Then i upgraded my HDD to a western digital 160GB (148 available) 5400rpm HDD. Now when I try to ftp to it I can't. Any ideas as to why?
