ftp with ethernet

    HI,

    I am guessing that is it possible to ftp to my xbox diretly by connecting an ethernet cable from my pc directly to my xbox?

    you need a crossover cable to do it directly from your computer to your Xbox.

    If you are conecting through a router then you just need a normal network cable.

    I have a Crossover cable but i cant stablish the connection.

    what is the netwrok settings on your Computer and on your Xbox.

    Give both CPU and Xbox and include:
    IP address
    Subnet Mask
    defualt Gateway

    I^ve readed the full ftp guide, and in evox settings it describes that i must go system management-settings, but i cant find the option, i just have reboot, shutdown, games, emulators, applications, and microsoft dashboard.

    are you scrolling all the way up and down on the options? Somtimes some options disapear when you scroll and they will scroll off the page your looking at. There should be an option for system somwere in the list.

    well i cant help you if you cant find the network settings on your dashboard. It has to be there somewhere.
