wondering if its possible to log into your xbox remotely, i tried it already but it wont work

i can log onto it locally no problem but when i try remotely it doesnt work

i also forwarded the port on my router also to allow inbound connections but still nothing, and oh i was using unleashX maybe i should try using XBMC and it might work.

    any suggestions would be appreciated

ok the only thing i could come up with is if the xbox is connected directly to the internet so
    cable modem-xbox
set the ip to DHCP try it from there...you might also want to write that ip down and change it to static and put that ip in because your ip might change overnight one day....

Hey i've been having some trouble FTP'ing my xbox to my computer
i think my xbox and comp are talking to each other but just after it connects it claims that it needs a password, i've put it in, (xbox) but it still says that it needs a pass. i havn't changed it.
i've tried several IP options, the one that seems to work for me is
    xbox:IP - 192.168.0.3 default gateway - 192.168.0.1
    PC: ip - 192.168.0.3 default gateway - 192.168.0.1
    the subnet mask both 255.255.255.0
anyhelp i can get would be reallly appreciated
